Vincent Lockwood - Chairman
Vincent Lockwood was the forerunner of contract cleaning in South Africa, where he started Prestige Office Cleaning in 1964. This grew from scratch to a turnover in excess of R800,000 per month, employing over 7000 cleaners. Vincent used his wealth of experience and his high quality customer base to establish another company The Office Plant, a business specialising in plant rental, landscaping and office plants. Both of these companies were sold in 1996 to the Bidvest Group. Prestige is now the largest cleaning company in South Africa. Vincent has aided the growth of the company using his wealth of experience to give guidance and support to Robert and his team.
Robert Legge - Group Chief Executive Officer
Robert was in the Royal Air Force Regiment, a regiment classed as Special Forces. On leaving the forces, Robert joined the DHSS as a Security Manager protecting high level civil servants and ministers. Robert has had experience in the business world having set up and run his own businesses from 1993 to 1998. Joining Ecocleen Limited in 1998, Robert helped the then present owners to retire. Since 1998 Robert has taken the business from a turnover base of £1 Million to over £16 million in just under 7 years. The next step will see the business expand to circa £30 million turnover by the end of 2007.
Paul Middleton - Operations Director
Paul joined the company in 2002, having worked with Vincent Lockwood on a local basis for one year. Paul comes from an operational background and has been instrumental in building strong working relationships with all of our customers. Paul now heads up the company operations department for the group and is fully responsible for all operational issues.
Maurice Belcher - Finance Director/Company Secretary
Maurice joined the company 2 years ago and took up the position as finance Director in 2005. Maurice a qualified accountant runs the finances for all companies within the group. Reporting to Maurice is a finance team consisting of managers, Payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control. Maurice is pleased to say that it is a pleasure working with Ecocleen; all of their staff from top to bottom are highly professional with a wealth of experience that creates a great working atmosphere.
Donna Davis - HR Manager
Donna joined the company in 2005 to streamline the Human Resources function within the organisation. Donna reports directly to the main board of Directors. She comes to the organisation, as CIPD qualified in HR, having run the Spicer Heart HR function for many years. Donna has ensured that all staff employed by the company benefit from a professional service and that the company remains compliant with legislation at all times.
Iain Fraser Jones - National Sales Director
Having graduated in 1983 Iain has pursued a career in the service sector. He has both operational and commercial experience having initially started in the security industry. Iain has worked for a variety of security service providers and distribution organisations' in both operational and business development roles. His operational experience is a fundamental prerequisite for understanding customer needs and translating these requirements into logical, effective service proposals that maximise value.
Sean Fisher - National Operations Manager
Sean comes to the UK from South Africa; he has worked for the company for over 3 years. In this time Sean has spent most of his time working with our retail clients and is proud to boast an impeccable audit trail from all of his contract managers. Sean confirms that the industry we are in will only accept a high standard of cleaning and this is my main focus. A happy customer is what makes my role a pleasure. Sean has is sights set on growing with the company and to this end is a workaholic working most weekends.
